| The Trinity: |
Three Divine Persons constitute the Godhead; the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit (Deut. 6:4; John 14:15-18; 2 Cor. 13:14; I John 4:7).
| The Father |
Who is Spirit, infinite and eternal, sovereign and the creator and sustainer of all things (Gen. 1:1; John 4:24, 17:1; I Tim. 1:17).
| The Son |
Jesus Christ; His deity, virgin birth, sinless life, atoning death, bodily resurrection, personal exaltation at God's right hand, and personal return (Is. 9:6-7; Lk. 1:27-35; John 1:1, 14; Acts 1:9-11; I Cor. 15:3-4; Heb. 1:1-3; 2:14, 12:2).
| The Holy Spirit |
Who came upon the Church at Pentecost. His Divine Person, equal with the Father and the Son and of the same Nature (John 14:16-17, 15:26; Acts 2:1-4).
| The Holy Scriptures |
We believe that the Scriptures as originally given were inspired by the Holy Spirit, and are the inerrant and authoritative Word of God (John 17:17; II Tim. 3:15-16; II Pet. 1:19-21).
| The Fall of Man |
Mankind is born with a sinful nature in consequence of Adam's sin and is, therefore, subject to the wrath of God (Gen. 3; Rom. 3:9-18, 5:12; I Cor. 15:22).
| Salvation |
Salvation is not of works but by grace through faith in the shed blood and substitutionary death of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour (Titus 3:4-7; Eph. 2:8-9; Rom. 5:8). |
